Trial Officer (Vegetable division - 12 months contract)
Your tasks and responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Trial Officer for 12 months contract. This position is located in Budapest.
TO, Central-Europe works together with MDRs, Central Europe as contributor of bottom up and top down product and solution development accordingly to the market targets for achieving advanced corporate business results in Central Europe. The TO is in charge to obtain qualitative and quantitative data necessary for advancement of varieties in local markets.
Alignment to the relevant product development and business strategy
Identification of potential products of the pipeline together with MDR, targeting the local customer needs
Intensive communication and exchange of information with MDR, R&D, Marketing and Sales.
Build and maintain good relationship with growers or/and distributors
Knowledge of input materials from R&D
Trial planning together with MDR
Trial plan alignment with MDR and MD Crop Leads
Trial seed forecasting with co-ordination of MDR
Trial design and set up (following sowing and transplanting) with coordination of MDR
Trial follow up
Follow up trail harvests and record trial data
Prepare data input for MDR and Local Portfolio Meetings.
Use of adequate digital tools
Who you are
BSc or MSc or equivalent in Agronomy
Work experience in vegetable or agricultural industry is preferred
Dynamic and enthusiastic person
Able to work in a team within the department and cross-functionally as well
Proactivity in task definition and able to work on his own initiative
Strong in planning, time management and prioritization
Good communication skills
Flexible approach to travel frequently inland and abroad
Knowledge in tomato, pepper, cucumber is appreciated
Medium level in use of MS Office
Driving license (B – Motor vehicles)
Native speaker in Hungarian or Romanian or Serb-Croatian and fluency in English (CEFR: B - Independent user)
